Check in and check out were very quick but did both at off hours. Staff were Great. Room looked fine at check in, but the longer you were in it you notice things. Water damage to carpet and wall near windows. Fraying carpet and dusty corners. Surfaces were clean. Mattress looks like it has seen better days but comfortable. Wi-Fi worked fine. TV occasionally glitched. Beware, this has got to be the slickest shower I have ever encountered in a hotel. No shower mat provided. Mold in shower. 2 lights did not work along with 1 outlet. How does a business hotel not have a desk? Awkward round table and funky chair. The hotel met its purpose but would not be my first choice. All Marriotts seem to be deferring maintenance anymore, and to be fair Hilton is as well, but these brands do not seem to care what their owners and management companies are doing.

This would have been lovely hotel 20 years ago but rooms look like they haven’t been decorated since. Grubby carpet, dull and dated. It’s a shame as rooms are a good size and could be good if renovated. However there is nothing that can be done about looking directly out on to a concrete wall. Glad it was only one night in first leg of tour.

Deeply disappointment and frustrated with the level of service provided by the Atlanta Marriott Marquis during our recent event. As the organizer of the event, I had high expectations for a smooth and memorable evening for all attendees. However, what transpired fell far short of those expectations due to inefficient communication and inadequate customer service due to our event staff manager who was assigned to work with us. Throughout the planning process, I communicated several times via email to the hotel event manager, to ensure that all our needs and requirements were clearly communicated to the staff at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Regrettably, it became evident, the day of my arrival to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, that there were significant shortcomings in this regard, leading to confusion and frustration for both myself and our guests. Following the conclusion of the event, I expected a prompt and thorough debriefing with the event coordinator to address the issues and provide feedback. Unfortunately, communication from that person or anyone from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis has NOT occurred. I firmly believe that the inefficiencies and lapses in communication demonstrated by our assigned event manager at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis significantly hindered our ability to deliver an exceptional experience that we had promised to our staff and students. I expected at least a 4 star service but it was more of 2 star. We will never chose this site again!

Not sure where to start…….I will start with the positives. The lobby is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very busy with business travel. I was on the 23rd floor and only 1 elevator was working. My room was not very clean and the carpet was was full of disgusting stains. Beds are very low to ground and itchy. The TV was statically and I was unable to watch it. Hotel needs renovations.

This hotel is no where the quality of any other Marriott. I am disappointed in how old this hotel is. The TV service is sporadic and buffers constantly. I tried to call to front desk, but the phone in my room does not even have a cord. Stay away from any hotel in downtown Atlanta
